Challenge: 
Hearing loss can affect maybe the most important aspect of team sports: communicating with your hearing teammates. 

Insight: 
We can relieve the loss of one sense by enhancing another with the latest vibrotactile and sensory substitution technology.

Solution: 
With vibrotactile technology and speech recognition Nike created a headband that vibrates depending on where teammates voices come from, allowing the user to feel sound through vibration.
By registering teammates in the Nike app, the sound sensitive microphones around the headband will recognise their specific voices and vibrate in the direction the sound from while filtering out other distracting sounds.
